    Our apprenticed professions

    We offer you pay and vacation arrangements in line with collective agreements and performance (30 days + bridge days). In addition, you will receive a Christmas bonus and vacation pay. The vocational school is located in Hildesheim. The company promotes the health of its employees by supporting a cooperation with the AOK insurance to improve employee health. We are also affiliated with the Hansefit health program, which enables you to be active in sports at around 3,500 facilities in Germany.

    Industrial clerk (m/f/d)

    During your training, you will pass through all areas of our company. This includes the departments of work preparation and sales, purchasing (materials management), shipping and financial and personnel accounting. Industrial clerks work in almost all industries and all commercial company departments. They deal with business management issues, buy and sell products, advise and support customers. Furthermore, they take care of accounting processes and deal with personnel management, personnel selection and personnel deployment.

    Training and requirements
    As an industrial clerk, you need strong communication skills, the ability to cooperate, problem-solving thinking and negotiating skills. Good knowledge of mathematics and good language skills are also essential.
    The dual training takes place in the company as well as in the vocational school. The training lasts 2 to 3 years, depending on the school-leaving qualification.

    We expect from you

    • Secondary school leaving certificate + one-year vocational school for business or general university entrance qualification
    • Inclination to commercial thinking
    • Good knowledge of German and mathematics
    • Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage

    Media designer (m/f/d)

    Our media designers check incoming data, design media products, implement marketing concepts and edit images. They prepare existing data for printing and make corrections. At the start of your training, we will work together on exercises to familiarize you with the programs and involve you in working on customer orders. You will very quickly be able to independently realize various design tasks. In addition, you will get an overview of the entire operational process.

    Training and requirements
    Training takes place on a dual basis at the training company and at the relevant vocational school. Before starting your two-year training in our company, you will need to have successfully completed a one-year vocational school (BFS) in printing and media technology. Basic training content includes design fundamentals, data handling, and media integration.

    You should be creative and have an understanding of color. Good teamwork skills and an affinity for modern technology are essential. At least a good secondary school diploma and good written and spoken German are essential. Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage and organizational skills round off the requirements.

    Media technologist (m/f/d)

    You set up the technically sophisticated, often computer-controlled high-performance presses, change them over and ensure a trouble-free production process. Once the press has been set up and the inks and printing stock have been matched, you create test prints for approval by the customer. During the largely automated printing process, you monitor the accuracy of the print and the ink metering to ensure consistently high quality of the end product. Depending on the job, you finish the finished print sheets by laminating them. After completing the job, you will clean the machine and check its function. You will learn the complex area of print processing, i.e. regulation, measurement and control technology and the further processing of the print products. After successfully completing your training, you will work with 2-3 employees on a printing press according to your instructions.

    You have the best prerequisites if you have a technical interest and understanding of machines and systems. The three-year training program takes place on a dual basis in the training company and at the relevant vocational school. Before starting your two-year training in our company, you will need to have successfully completed a one-year vocational school (BFS) in printing and media technology.

    • Successful completion of one-year vocational school for printing and media technology

    Packaging technologist (m/f/d)

    You set up and retool the technically sophisticated, often computer-controlled high-performance machines and ensure a trouble-free production process.
    In packaging production, you will plan material requirements and production processes, convert production equipment and set up process control systems. You monitor the manufacturing process and are also involved in quality testing.

    Training and requirement
    You have the best prerequisites if you have a technical interest and understanding of machines and systems. The three-year apprenticeship takes place in the training company and at the relevant vocational school.
    Constantly changing demands on our products require constant new developments and improvements to the manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in implementing these.

    Warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)

    You are employed in numerous areas of logistics. Your field of activity concerns the receipt of goods and optical incoming goods inspection. You check the stock of goods, ensure their proper and appropriate storage, unpack/repack goods and repack them or make them ready for shipment. You will also ensure the smooth flow of goods from the warehouse to various company departments such as production and goods issue. Within the scope of materials planning, you will determine material requirements in accordance with production and work schedules and arrange for the procurement of the necessary raw materials, consumables and supplies. You will learn how to use logistical aids and forklift trucks in the area of loading/unloading trucks, storing/removing and transferring goods in the merchandise management system.

    Training and requirement
    You have the best prerequisites if you have an interest in and understanding of logistical processes, cleanliness and order. The three-year training program takes place in the training company and at the relevant vocational school.

    Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

    You control and monitor the production process on our technically sophisticated, often computer-controlled high-performance machines and ensure a trouble-free production flow.
    If malfunctions or machine downtimes occur during production, you will react quickly and solve the problem. In addition, you are involved in the maintenance and care of the machines.
    Your technical skills and concentration are required both for repairs and for setting up and operating the equipment.

    Training and requirements
    You have the best prerequisites if you have technical understanding and also want to put this into practice on the machine. When setting up and operating the machines, as well as when carrying out any necessary repairs, you will be able to demonstrate both concentration and skill. The two-year training program takes place in parallel in the training company and at vocational school.
    After successful completion of the training, there is the option of a third year of training leading to a qualification as a packaging technologist or media technologist for print processing.
